Ahmia Day Retreats are small-group seasonal well-being retreats in West Devon, created to calm the nervous system, restore energy and gently guide you back towards balance.

Held near Tavistock in peaceful countryside settings, each wellness day retreat offers space to step away from pressure and reconnect with what matters most.

​Rooted in seasonal living and healing in nature, these retreats are primarily attended by women, but are open to anyone who feels aligned with the intention.

Relax

We begin by slowing everything down.

Through accessible, restorative yoga or breathwork practices, your body is given permission to move out of stress mode and into calm.

This is not fast-paced or performance-based. It's steady, supportive and suitable for all levels - whether you attend yoga regularly or are completely new to the practice.

This is where the nervous system begins to settle.

Restore

Restoration looks different for everyone.

It may be a light, nourishing seasonal lunch.

Time outdoors in the field or orchard.

Quiet reflection.

Gentle conversation.

Nature is woven into each retreat wherever possible. Spending time outside during a Devon day retreat supports clarity, steadies emotions and replenishes energy in ways that feel simple but powerful.

This is the pause in the middle of the day - the space where your body and mind begin to reset.

 

Re-balance

In the later part of the retreat, we introduce gentle reflective coaching.

Using the various coaching tools, we explore areas such as:

  • relationships

  • work and purpose

  • health and well-being

  • rest and leisure

  • personal growth

 

This is not intense or therapeutic work. It's calm awareness within a supportive, small group retreat setting.

Where does life feel steady?

Where might it need more attention?

Where could relaxation make the biggest difference?

 

​You'll be guided to set a realistic personal intention to carry forward beyond the retreat, helping you integrate what you've gained from you wellness day.

We close with meditation, allowing everything to settle before returning home feeling clearer and more balanced.
